About bonnet carpet cleaning

Take your time to look around at our information about bonnet carpet cleaning.

The method of cleaning called Absorbent Pad carpet cleaning (usually called bonnet cleaning) is arguably a simple method of cleaning a carpet’s surface. It is not deep cleaning, though, and is considered less effective then some dry methods. This leads many in the Carpet Cleaning Industry to argue that it is neither effective nor practical. It is, however, cost effective and relatively simple. Another advantage is that it will dry faster then other wet methods of cleaning your carpet, incase you need your house again relatively quickly, as it does require some drying time.

Bonnet carpet cleaning can even be a do-it-yourself job, on less expensive carpet (if your carpet is very expensive or high quality, the cleaning should be left to professionals who do it for a living). The fact that it’s not deep cleaning, though, means that it will probably not get all the soil out of deeper areas of the carpet. Only a deep cleaning method will truly remove all the dirt and organisms what live deep under your carpet’s surface. And while absorbent pad cleaning may keep your carpet presentable, a deep cleaning is recommended at least once every twelve months.

Up points and down, this is a somewhat widely used method of cleaning carpets. Many companies will utilize this method because it is more cost efficient or because they are very familiar with it. And some will stay away from it because it is not deep cleaning enough for a wet method. Others use this method only to make carpets look presentable in the months between deep cleaning methods.
